We are officially in 2019, and new style trends for interior design in restaurants are here. V&E Restaurant Group is always trying to achieve optimal ambience in each of our restaurants.

The goal is to walk through the doors of a V&E Restaurant and be transported. We put every effort into making each detail unique and special to the appropriate focus of the establishment.

The ‘V’ and ‘E’ in V&E Restaurant Group stand for ‘Vida’ and ‘Estilo.’ We are the Vida & Estilo Restaurant Group of South Florida.

In English, ‘vida’ means life, and ‘estilo’ means style, and that is what we try to embody for our restaurant group. Over time, we have grown tremendously and now have restaurants all over Miami as well as in Mexico and Las Vegas.

Valentine’s Day menus spark romance across town

The approach of February means romance is in the air, with Valentine’s Day just around the corner. And if you’re looking to impress your significant other, Las Vegas restaurants are standing by to help with special menus, some of which follow.

Unless otherwise noted, the specials will be available Feb. 14 only. Also unless otherwise noted, prices are per person, plus tax and tip. Since Valentine’s Day tends to be the second-busiest of the year for restaurants, it’s wise to make reservations as far in advance as possible.

That said, most Las Vegas buffets will add some special dishes to celebrate Cupid’s big day, so you always have alternatives…

South Florida’s 11 Best Cuban-Style Sandwiches

South Floridians love a good Cuban sandwich. After all, what’s not to love about ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles heated between crispy, pressed Cuban bread? Yet there are so many more types of “Cuban” sandwiches that are equally delectable.

There’s also the Miami sandwich (ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese and mayo on Cuban bread), pan con bistec (a thinly cut seasoned steak sandwich topped with onions), media noche (a Cuban sandwich made with a sweet, egg-based bread) croqueta preparada(ham, swiss, and croquetas housed inside Cuban bread), pan con lechon(a Cuban version of a pulled pork sandwich), pan con tortilla (omelette sandwich), pan con minuta (fried snapper sandwich), and the Elena Ruz(cream cheese, strawberry jam, turkey on a sweet, egg-based bread).
