Miami Beach, FL (September, 2024) – Eduardo Araoz, co-founder and owner of Vida & Estilo Group (VEHG), has been recognized with the 2024 Miami Beach Hispanic Heritage Month Award for Outstanding Business Entrepreneur. This award celebrates Araoz’s significant contributions to the city and his role as a leading figure in the hospitality industry.

Eduardo Araoz is a Cuban restaurateur who, alongside VE Group founders Jamil Dib and Simon Jacobo, opened the first Vida & Estilo restaurant, Oh! Mexico, on Española Way in 1997. Since then, they have been launching and operating globally inspired culinary brands. Translating to “life and style,” V&E Hospitality Group boasts one of the most unique collections of iconic restaurants, bars, and entertainment destinations, with locations in both Miami and Las Vegas.

In addition to its culinary successes, Eduardo Araoz and Vida & Estilo Group have consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to giving back to the community. Over the years, they have made numerous contributions, including food donations to local events, supporting community activities, and investing in cultural landmarks that celebrate Hispanic heritage. A notable example of their dedication to preserving cultural identity is the iconic “Don Quijote” artwork at the entrance of Española Way, a symbol that has become a beloved fixture in Miami Beach and a reinforcement of the Hispanic legacy. The Miami Beach Hispanic Affairs Committee, an advisory body to the City Commission in relation to the Hispanic community of the city, announced thirteen Awards including public servant, public safety, individuals contributing to youth, artist & educator, among others. 

Eduardo Araoz will be presented the Miami Beach Hispanic Heritage Month Award on Thursday September 26th during a 6 p.m VIP ceremony at the Sherry Frontenac Hotel in Miami Beach.
